WEB + GRAPHIC DESIGNER, FRONT-END DEVELOPER,
AND WAKE-SURFING ENTHUSIAST.

I am a web and graphic designer and front-end coder located in the Greater Vancouver area. I specialize in email design, web design and development and graphic design. I'm used to wearing many hats, which allows me to be well-rounded in the services I offer.

I majored in New Media Production and Design at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology where I graduated with honours. After working for a small local finance company in Calgary as their primary web designer and developer, I moved to beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia to work at Certified Professional Accountants of Canada (formally CGA-Canada). During my ten years working there I received wonderful mentorship from my boss, and was promoted to their senior web designer and developer role.

While at CPA Canada, I earned two awards for my web design work:

• 2015 Canadian Online Publishing Awards for Best Email Newsletter Design and Engagement (Silver)
• 2010 MarCom Gold Award for E-Zine — Dialogue (MarCom Awards)

For ten years I balanced my day job with personal creative work, like hand lettering, wedding photo books, and graphic design. Eventually the time was right and I decided to follow my dream and open my own business. This has allowed me to work on other cool projects and people, from emerging brands and email campaigns to my own personal projects.
